Leaderboard FAQs

Common questions about our esports rankings methodology and data sources.

Our power rankings use a composite scoring model that weighs championship wins (35%), international tournament performance (25%), infrastructure investment (20%), and historical consistency (20%). Each region and team is evaluated against these criteria using publicly verified data from official league records, tournament organizers, and team announcements. The model is peer-reviewed and updated quarterly.
The leaderboards are updated after every major tournament or league split concludes. Regional power rankings are refreshed quarterly, while individual team ratings are recalculated bi-weekly during active competitive seasons. Prize pool data is updated in real-time as tournaments conclude. The "Updated" tag at the top of each table shows the last refresh date.
Our leaderboards cover all major competitive titles including League of Legends, Valorant, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, Overwatch 2, Call of Duty, Rocket League, and more. Teams are ranked based on their performance across all titles they compete in, with weighted scoring for tier-1 events. We continuously expand coverage as new esports titles reach competitive maturity.
The Infrastructure Score is a 0-100 composite index that measures a region's esports ecosystem quality. It factors in: dedicated arena count and capacity, training facility investment, internet infrastructure quality, government support and regulation clarity, broadcast production value, and grassroots development pipeline strength. South Korea leads at 96, reflecting its decades of esports-specific investment.
